So basically all my life I had no idea what my type was, but recently I think I've figured it out. These girls are soooo rare but whenever I meet someone like this I realize how I could never settle for what society so praises.

1. Intellectual
2. Curious
3. Confident
4. Patient
5. Independent
6. Collected

Lately I've been finding myself surrounded by girls that are so unoriginal that it actually makes me nauseous. We get it, you love shopping, and looking sexy, and partying.... Do you have any idea why you're alive?

I'm always looking for that girl that asks the big questions; I am actually attracted to people who think like that. I find it romantic.

Anyone ever meet someone like this?

I live in a college town, so, yes.

Not the party girls, the ones that I'd consider my type. Or is that what you meant?

I'm getting the feeling that I'm one of those starbucks, bookstore type of guys. not that I'm actually one of those guys, but like that's where i should go to meet the kind of girls I'm attracted to lol.

well I havent ahd a date yet (pathetic no?) so I really cant know until I try some... I think intellectual would be nic e at first but then he would just simly annoy me. Curious would show that he wants to learn about the workld but sometimes all the questions make me just agry heh. I think Ill go with a patient and collected person, but I guess only experience will show.

I feel the same thing when Im with friends, girls or not. They are all the same, look the same and even think the same... I somehow wonder, has anyone of them ever stopped and just looked up at the sky?
God made me an atheist, who are you to question his wisdom!

I think ugly duckling syndrome can lead to such a person. I dated such a girl once, but she was too hyper and believed in astrology :-/

I'm attracted to people who are intelligent, open minded, confident, and caring (but not caring in the sense that they are overly emotional and have to discuss their feelings all the time).  Basically, I looked for the same things in a partner as I do in a friend...the difference is that I don't have to find my friends sexually attractive.  But, I'm happily married so I don't date anymore.

Female. Other than that, I have no type whatsoever. Having a type would limit myself and could prevent me from finding someone special that doesn't happen to conform to common traits in past significant others.
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.

So you're attracted to everything? (of course you aren't, so what ARE you attracted to lol)

Well, thinking back on my relationships, yes pretty much everything. Intelligent, less intelligent, funny, passive, aggressive, maybe a dozen different races, thin, overweight, daddy issues, independent, into anime; I've literally dated a cornucopia of woman.

How do you know what you like if you don't try a little bit of everything?  :D I'm with you on this one, except I mostly stuck to redhead/Asian.

Ah, redheaded Asians. Brings me back.

Attraction isn't an equation.

Redheaded asians? Meh. Redheads don't really do it for me. Which is unusual because of a certain someone that I was atracted too... <_<
I like dark haired asians with whatever skin type, and intelligence is a must. They don't have to be book smart, they just need a good head on their shoulders. But basically, other than that, it's all a matter if we won't fight 24/7. :D

I agree.  I didn't try to pick out who I dated based on preconceived ideas of what worked for me.  The only reason I had the few descriptions I posted above is because those seem to be common characteristics of people I didn't regret dating.
